New Mexico Trainer Registry Application
The Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) has established a trainer registry for approval of those wanting to train providers working with young children. The purpose of the Trainer Registry is to ensure that early care professionals receive instruction from qualified individuals based on the Seven Common Core Content Competency Areas and to establish policies and procedures for the current regulations. New Mexico Child Care Licensing Regulations state that early care and education training must be provided by individuals who are registered on the New Mexico Trainer Registry.
