Notice of Public Hearing

The Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) is in the process of revising the Non-Licensed Child Care (8.17.2 NMAC) and Background Check (8.8.3 NMAC) regulations. A public hearing is scheduled for June 29, 2015 at 11:00 in Apodaca Hall on the second floor of the PERA Building located at 1120 Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe, New Mexico, to receive public comments regarding proposed changes to the regulations. Feedback on the regulations may be submitted at any time by emailing policyinput.ecs@state.nm.us or calling 1-800-832-1321.

In addition to the public hearing scheduled on June 29, 2015, Early Childhood Services will also conduct Town Hall meetings to meet with interested parties to review the proposed regulation changes and obtain comments. The following are dates and locations for the Town Hall meeting:
