The TTAP is funded through the state of New Mexico's Children, Youth and Families Department.

Trainer Registry
Trainer Registry

The Trainer Registry is a database of individuals who have been approved by CYFD as being qualified to provide training to early care and education practitioners. The approval system and Registry is based on New Mexico’s seven core competencies for personnel working in early care and education.

Look for the STARS
STARS

Look for the STARS is a five-level quality rating system to help parents identify quality child care programs. The higher the STAR Level, the higher the level of quality. Each STAR Level requires a provider to meet higher quality standards in six areas.

AIM HIGH
AIM HIGH

AIM HIGH is a child-care support program to help ensure safe, high-quality care. AIM HIGH, a project developed by the Children, Youth and Families Department, teams a child-care program with a program development specialist, or mentor. The two work together to develop a plan for improving the quality of the program.

Child Care Revolving Loan Program
Child Care Revolving Loan Program
The Child Care Revolving Loan Fund provides low interest loans to licensed child care providers in New Mexico for the purpose of upgrading quality. To apply for the loan, you must be licensed for three or more years and must comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
