OFFICE OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT

The OCD works collaboratively with:

  • Higher Education Community Programs
…to establish a 5 year plan for Early Care, Education and Family Support Professional Development.

CHILD CARE SERVICES BUREAU

The CCSB administers the following programs:
  • Child Care Assistance
  • Child Care Licensing
  • Registered Child Care Homes
In collaboration with CYFD’s OCD and FNB, the CCSB coordinates quality child care services and works to build child care capacity statewide.

FAMILY NUTRITION BUREAU

CYFD’s Family Nutrition Bureau (FNB) administers two USDA Child Nutrition Programs which provide federal funds to participating institutions to initiate and maintain non-profit food service programs for eligible children and adults. USDA NONDISCRIMINATION STATEMENT
 

NewMexicoKids Training and Consultaion Hub

NewMexicoKids Hub

Through the Network office’s coordination and knowledge, as well as extensive TTAP input, statewide early care and education outcomes are showing a positive change.

CHILD CARE RESOURCE AND REFERRAL PROGRAM

NewMexicoKids Child Care Resource & Referral maintains a statewide database of child care providers that are licensed or registered by the State of New Mexico.
